What is this?

I’ve been creating games and supplements over on itch as Tim Zee since 2020. That account has been an invaluable playground for me as I learn how to make things and try to define exactly what I want to make.

That’s a place where I try things and where I learned the importance of just putting stuff together and getting it out there.

Now that I’m four years into this journey, I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do next. Those projects, which are mostly complete games, are not going to be published on the Tim Zee account. They will go here on this Substack.

I’ll still add stuff to the Tim Zee itch page, mostly experiments and jam submissions, but this is where I’m going to try and live blog my progress on the various games I want to make and share bits and pieces of them along the way.

This is an accountability profile above anything else. I’m hoping that if I have an audience (even if it’s an audience of one), I will be forced to move these projects towards completion.
