Wow, fifty straight weeks of sending out this newsletter and doing little bits and pieces to my various projects. I’m a little bummed that something isn’t finished by now, but I simply don’t have the time to dedicate large chunks of time to this stuff. For now, this has to be good enough for me. It would be nice to have something complete (so I can move on from it), but in the meantime I’m trying to enjoy the process. I’m being pretty successful at that for the most part.
Anyways, school started up this week. So work, three classes, sumo writing (which has became real supplemental income now) and essential things like partnering and parenting are all in the front seat right now. Because of that, it’s just minor additions this week.

I’m thinking ‘The Road’ is a singular road that exists in this universe. It could also be something to connect different point crawls together for campaign play.
This is designed to be an intro adventure where players go to the roost of a bird whose feathers can be used to purify water. Travel along the road is safe enough. You need to veer off into the rocks for your prize, though. There is a pass that bandits use for ambushes and then cave systems in the north and south. One of those systems will have it’s own mini map that lets players delve underground without fear of the sun. Sinking sands is something I want to include elsewhere, too. This is like my world’s ‘ocean’. The sand is thin there, there are currents and waves, and if you step into it, you drown. People dredge the ‘coasts' of these oceans with grappling hooks hoping to bring up treasure. What else might they hook and bring to the surface, though?
