I've just put to paper my hyperlight odnd-killer ODEAN D6 and am working on editing some of the Troika! 1:5 line for Melsonia ─ so it's a nice balance of build and pare
The main saver-of-space was not including a spell list ─ most people who play odnd have got at least three or four lists somewhere already
The main conceptual removal was stats, in that you never roll for them at chargen. If they become necessary in play, you can roll them up then ─ but too often they're not worth the space on the character sheet
I really like that approach to stats. Allows for quick onboarding, too, without having players agonize over what stats/skills will be useful in a game.
happy paper anniversary!
Thanks Sean, hope you're well! What are you working on right now?

Right on! What's the biggest piece of chaff you removed to make your ODEAN D6 hyperlight?
