Just some light work on my Cairn and Blades’ hacks this week. It’s not a lot, but it’s progress. And at Three Nine Press (which is me in the spot of my condo my daughter calls ‘the forest corner’) we believe in creeping and crawling towards completion. I’ll get there in the end.

Project Run down
Sand & Stars
(Desert survival x Cairn, Ashcan here [link])
…
I added the 100 Spells section, from the original Cairn, to my ashcan. Need to review this list and make some changes and replace some spells with my own (which are more on theme for the setting - things about producing/purifying water, discerning weather patterns, etc.). Generally, though, this is an example of someone already doing the hard work for me, so I think I should just take this shortcut for what it is and leave them mostly as is.
Steam Thieves
(Steampunk x Forged in the Dark, Ashcan here [link])
Added a little in the Fortune Roll section.
…
The fortune roll is a tool the Operator can use to disclaim decision making. You use a fortune roll in two different ways:
When you need to make a determination about a situation the Steam Thieves aren’t directly involved in and don’t want to simply decide the outcome.
The Potter Gang and the Free Steam Revolutionary Front are fighting. How does that turn out? The Operator makes a fortune roll for each of them. The Potter Gang gets a good result but the Front gets limited effect. The Operator decides that the Potter Gang takes over some of their rivals’ turf but suffers some injuries during the skirmish.
